Helen Hayes Hospital is located in Rockland County, approximately 45 minutes north of the George Washington Bridge.

Public Transportation

Red and Tan Lines operates a daily service of local and express buses originating from the Port Authority Terminal in New York City including the #11A, 47 and 49 routes.

Metro North riders may take the Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal to Ossining and then take a connecting New York Waterway Ferry to Haverstraw. For a schedule, call 1-800-53-Ferry.

Transport of Rockland (TOR) operates a Monday-Saturday service, with Route #94 stopping at the front door of the hospital and Route #91 stopping adjacent to the hospital. Visit online or call 845-364-3333.

+ Helen Hayes Hospital Visitation Safety Plan (For All Units Except SNF & TCU):

Visiting hours start promptly at 12:00 pm and end promptly at 8:00 pm. 

Two visitors are permitted at a time. Visitors must be 12 years and older.  Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Visitors must check out at the front desk before leaving to open up availability for the next visitors to register and visit.
