An accomplished healthcare executive and clinician with more than 25 years of experience in hospital administration, finance, and operations, Dr. Guevin brings invaluable expertise and vision to his role leading Helen Hayes Hospital’s comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation services. Prior to joining Helen Hayes Hospital, Dr. Guevin built a distinguished career advancing care in leadership roles at renowned institutions, including the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital, and the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. His experience spans both acute and post-acute settings nationwide, with a consistent focus on maximizing operational outcomes, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and delivering exceptional care to complex patient populations.

Dr. Guevin’s direct care experience as a licensed physical therapist forms the strong foundation for his patient-centered leadership approach. He remains deeply committed to advancing patient-centered care through innovation, expert collaboration, and an unwavering focus on the unique needs of every patient at Helen Hayes Hospital.

Dr. Guevin holds five academic degrees, including three at the graduate level: a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and a Masters of Business Administration. He is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and is Board Certified in Healthcare Management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
