Helen Hayes Hospital Offers Free Postural Evaluations For National Physical Therapy Month – October 25, 2016
October 13, 2016Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw will offer free posture assessments on Tuesday October 25th from 10:00am-3:00pm in honor of National Physical Therapy Month. The community event will provide attendees with standing and seating posture assessments, exercises to help stretch and strengthen postural muscles, and balance help.
National Physical Therapy Month is a yearly month-long celebration of the ability of physical therapy to transform lives. As one of the country’s very first specialty physical rehabilitation facilities, Helen Hayes Hospital enthusiastically celebrates National Physical Therapy Month and works daily to help patient achieve their best lives possible through the power of rehabilitation.
The posture assessment event is free and open to individuals of all abilities. Refreshments will be provided and evaluations will be offered in the hospital’s Dietary Conference Room.
