Foundation Sponsors Ballroom Dancing Fundraiser

The Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation presents “Save The Last Dance For Me,” an evening of Ballroom and Latin Dancing for individuals of all abilities at the Clinton Inn, Tenafly New Jersey on June 1, 2012 from 7:30pm to 12:00 midnight.

Dancing bridges all age groups and physical abilities and this extraordinary Dinner/Dance will underscore the health benefits of dancing as documented by medical research. Both professional as well as amateur dancers will participate in judged competitions.  Special guests will include Dancing with the Stars – Season 6 “Kids” from Spencer Nyemchek’s Dance Sport in New Jersey and Roll Call Wheelchair dancing as choreographed by the Nyemchek’s Dance Centre in Pearl River, New York..

Tickets, sponsorships and journal advertisements are available.  Tickets are $80.00, which will include a formal dinner, dancing, dance show presentations and dance hosts. Two levels of sponsorship are still open with recognition and signage at the event, a copy of the journal and acknowledgement on the website.  Inserra Supermarkets is the disc jockey sponsor for the evening.

All net proceeds from this fundraiser will support the full range of physical rehabilitation programs at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, New York. The Hospital is the region’s largest specialized rehabilitation facility offering hope to people with life altering disabilities such as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke and orthopedic and cardiac conditions. The Hospital boasts an internationally recognized Osteoporosis Center and conducts research in the areas of bone disease, neurological disease and injury.
