HHH to Host Award Winning Author and Actor
June 3, 2010Helen Hayes Hospital will host an “Evening with Malachy McCourt” on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Atrium of the physical rehabilitation facility in West Haverstraw.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Limerick, Ireland, Mr. McCourt’s career has spanned roles on Broadway, off-Broadway and regional theater, television and movies. He was one of radio’s first talk show hosts and is the author of eight books. His articles and columns have appeared in numerous publications.
A former patient, Mr. McCourt is happy to return to Helen Hayes Hospital for an evening of story telling, readings and humor. The event is free and open to the public.
