Helen Hayes Hospital Hosts Free Event With Scott Chesney Internationally Renowned Disability Speaker

West Haverstraw, NY – The Spinal Cord Injury and Amputee Support Group at Helen Hayes Hospital will present Maximizing Life with a Disability, a free presentation by internationally recognized motivational speaker Scott Chesney on Wednesday, March 29th at 6pm.

Scott Chesney was paralyzed by a spinal stroke at the age of 15. In the 31 years since, he has travelled the world, living life to the fullest and bringing his message of perseverance to over 1.5 million people at rehab centers, fortune 500 companies, associations and audiences at the United Nations, Pentagon, and FBI. Chesney is a respected workshop and keynote presenter and motivational coach, and his presentations are lauded for being engaging, inspirational and, ultimately, action-promoting.
