Certified Senior Advisor To Discuss Understanding Medicare at Helen Hayes Hospital – October 21, 2016

October 13, 2016

The Parkinson’s Support Group at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw will present a free public program, “Mystified by Medicare,” on October 21, 2016 from 10:30-11:30am in the hospital’s Noyes Conference Room. The program will be led by Medicare solutions advisor, long term care specialist and Certified Senior Advisor, Jennifer Lavelli. Lavelli, a frequent lecturer across the tri-state area, has extensive experience helping people understand and plan for Medicare and long term care.

“Mystified by Medicare” attendees will learn three ways to complete their Medicare health and prescription coverage, as well as how to evaluate the different choices and plans to find coverage that suits their needs and budget. The program will also answer questions on how to be certain that Medicare coverage is accepted by an individual’s doctors and covers all prescriptions, how to determine whether one is paying too much or too little for coverage, and whether it makes sense to review existing coverage during Medicare’s Annual Election Period (10/15/16-12/7/16).

This program is free and open to the public. For more information, please call the Helen Hayes Hospital Parkinson’s Support Group at 845-786-4321.
