The HSS Rehabilitation Network is a hospital-managed membership network of recommended therapy providers. Founded in 1994, the Network includes exceptional outpatient physical and occupational therapy facilities that must successfully complete a rigorous application and inspection process which evaluates their credentials, provision of care, facilities and scope of service. Network members are recognized for providing exceptional, accessible outpatient rehabilitative care.
The Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center at Helen Hayes Hospital provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic services to adults and children, all customized to meet an individual’s specific needs and goals. Each patient receives a one-on-one appointment with their assigned therapist. Physical and occupational therapy services are provided in dedicated outpatient therapy suites outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment.
Therapists treat individuals with a range of disorders, including those with: sports or work related injuries; shoulder, back, neck hip, knee and foot pain; joint replacements; fractures; osteoporosis; lymphedema; arthritis; upper extremity injuries.
